    Ogni sistema ha i suoi pregi e i suoi difetti. Il demerito di questo sistema \u00e8 che, man mano che la vita diventa sempre pi\u00f9 facile, la capacit\u00e0 fisica degli esseri umani diminuir\u00e0 gradualmente. Nell’antichit\u00e0 si percorrevano grandi distanze a piedi nudi, portando con s\u00e9 un solo straccio, ma oggi raramente ci si muove senza calzature o senza prendere le dovute precauzioni. \u00c8 un dato di fatto che la forza umana diminuir\u00e0 in futuro, ma con il progresso della societ\u00e0 non abbiamo altra alternativa che accettare questa situazione. Verr\u00e0 un giorno in cui gli occhi e le ossa del corpo umano diventeranno deboli. Quasi tutte le persone indosseranno occhiali e avranno la dentiera. In futuro ci saranno anche enormi cambiamenti nella struttura degli esseri umani. L’intelletto umano diventer\u00e0 pi\u00f9 acuto, il cranio diventer\u00e0 pi\u00f9 grande e le fibre nervose pi\u00f9 complesse. Questi cambiamenti non si verificheranno solo negli esseri umani, ma anche negli animali e nelle piante.<\/p>\n

L’elefante africano ha un corpo grande e una testa piccola e non pu\u00f2 essere facilmente addomesticato. In confronto l’elefante indiano ha un corpo piccolo e una testa grande. \u00c8 pi\u00f9 intelligente e pu\u00f2 essere facilmente addomesticato.<\/p>\n

Man mano che la vita diventa sempre pi\u00f9 facile, ci saranno maggiori opportunit\u00e0 per le attivit\u00e0 intellettuali. Verr\u00e0 un giorno in cui non ci sar\u00e0 quasi pi\u00f9 bisogno che gli esseri umani lavorino. Questo pu\u00f2 sembrare strano oggi e forse non ci piacerebbe sentire una cosa del genere, ma quel giorno arriver\u00e0 sicuramente. La fisicit\u00e0 si trasformer\u00e0 sempre pi\u00f9 in intellettualit\u00e0, e l’intellettualit\u00e0 si trasformer\u00e0 nel punto culminante della spiritualit\u00e0. Passare dalla fisicit\u00e0 all’intellettualit\u00e0 \u00e8 l’ordine proutistico. \u00c8 il movimento pi\u00f9 sicuro della vita umana – \u00e8 il movimento pi\u00f9 sicuro del destino umano.<\/p>\n

Questo tipo di movimento verso l’intellettualit\u00e0 avr\u00e0 luogo anche in alcuni tipi di animali, come i cani, le scimmie e le mucche. Pu\u00f2 darsi che tra mille anni le scimmie raggiungeranno lo stadio di evoluzione che gli esseri umani hanno raggiunto attualmente. In quel momento gli esseri umani faranno enormi progressi nel campo dell’intellettualit\u00e0 e dell’intuizione. Gli esseri umani di quell’epoca futura saranno molto sensibili. I nervi effervescenti saranno pi\u00f9 attivi dei nervi afferenti, e le esperienze sottili saranno pi\u00f9 comuni di quanto non lo siano ora. Oggi gli esseri umani raramente hanno esperienze sottili, ma in futuro si verificheranno in modo naturale e spontaneo. Anche la giurisdizione funzionale del cervello aumenter\u00e0. Allo stesso modo, molti animali diventeranno pi\u00f9 sensibili e il loro vocabolario aumenter\u00e0. Con lo sviluppo intellettuale il vocabolario aumenta, e aumenta anche il numero di parole in una lingua. Anche la giurisdizione funzionale del cervello degli animali aumenter\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Con l’aiuto delle pratiche spirituali, gli esseri umani del futuro aumenteranno la giurisdizione funzionale del loro cervello con una velocit\u00e0 sempre maggiore. La gente pu\u00f2 pensare di non poter fare un rapido progresso spirituale se non si aumenta la dimensione del cervello, e quindi la dimensione del cranio. Ma questo non \u00e8 cos\u00ec perch\u00e9 gli esseri umani possono aumentare la giurisdizione del loro pensiero.<\/p>\n

Oggi gli esseri umani stanno progredendo nel campo dell’intellettualit\u00e0. Per raggiungere il punto culminante della spiritualit\u00e0 gli esseri umani di oggi devono affrontare meno ostacoli rispetto alle persone del passato, come Mahar\u015bi Vishvamitra, Mahar\u015bi Agastya, ecc.        Every system has its merits and demerits. The demerit of this system is that as life becomes easier and easier, the physical capacity of human beings will gradually decrease. In ancient times people used to walk great distances with bare feet, carrying only a single cloth, but today people rarely move without footwear or without taking proper provisions. It is a fact that human strength will decrease in the future, but with the progress of society we have no alternative but to accept this situation. A day will come when the eyes and the bones in the human body will become weak. Almost all people will wear glasses and have false teeth. In the future there will also be tremendous changes in the structure of human beings. Human intellect will become sharper, the cranium will become larger and the nerve fibres will become more complex. Not only will such changes occur in human beings, similar changes will occur in animals and plants too.<\/p>\n

The African elephant has a large body and a small head and it cannot be easily domesticated. In comparison the Indian elephant has a small body and a large head. It is more intelligent and it can be easily domesticated.<\/p>\n

As life becomes increasingly easy, there will be greater opportunities for intellectual pursuits. A day will come when there will be hardly any need for human beings to work. This may sound strange today and perhaps we might not like to hear such a thing, but that day will surely come. Physicality will be transformed into more and more intellectuality, and intellectuality will be transformed into the culminating point of spirituality. To move ahead from physicality to intellectuality is the Proutistic order. It is the surest movement of human life \u2013 it is the surest movement of human destiny.<\/p>\n

This type of movement to intellectuality will also take place in certain kinds of animals, such as dogs, monkeys and cows. It may be that in 1,000 years monkeys will reach the stage of evolution that human beings have achieved at present. At that time human beings will be making tremendous progress in the realms of intellectuality and intuition. The human beings of that future age will be very sensitive. The efferent nerves will be more active than the afferent nerves, and subtle experiences will be more common than they are now. Today human beings seldom have subtle experiences, but in the future they will occur naturally and spontaneously. The functional jurisdiction of the brain will also increase. Similarly, many animals will become more sensitive and their vocabulary will increase. With intellectual development vocabulary increases, and the number of words in a language also increases. The functional jurisdiction of the brain of animals will increase too.<\/p>\n

With the help of spiritual practices, the human beings of the future will increase the functional jurisdiction of their brains with accelerating speed. People may think that they cannot make rapid spiritual progress unless the size of the brain, and hence the size of the cranium, is increased. But this is not so because human beings can increase the jurisdiction of their thinking.<\/p>\n

Today human beings are progressing in the realm of intellectuality. To attain the culminating point of spirituality the human beings of today have to face less obstacles than the people of the past such as Mahars\u0301i Vishvamitra, Mahars\u0301i Agastya, etc. The development of the glands and the amount of the hormone secretions is much greater than 100,000 years ago, and the glands will develop and increase their secretions by much more in the next 100,000 years. In 100,000 years, human beings will conceive of things which are beyond the conception of the human beings of today.
