\nAbstract<\/strong><\/span>
\nIn \u201cMicrovita and Cosmology\u201d P. R. Sarkar proposed that matter is the container of\u00a0energy and not energy itself. The present author proposes that the material containers of energy are composed of microvita\u2014sub-atomic living entities proposed by Sarkar that\u00a0give form to energy and create matter and minds. These hypotheses may shed new light\u00a0on the relationship of matter to energy, and may lead to the discovery of a new\u00a0formative force of nature\u2014microvita.<\/p>\n

Introduction<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Eastern introversial philosophy has traditionally focused on the experiential\u00a0understanding of mind and consciousness. Western extroversial science has focused on the observational and experimental understanding of matter and energy and their various\u00a0expressions. Now there is a new hypothesis about matter and energy that may bring\u00a0together Eastern philosophy and Western science.<\/p>\n

In 1986, P. R. Sarkar (1) first introduced the concept of microvita \u2013 subtle sub-atomic\u00a0living entities responsible for originating and spreading life in the universe and\u00a0maintaining balance in different areas of life. Readers may learn more about microvita\u00a0from references (1-4). As well as describing microvita, Sarkar introduced what he\u00a0called \u201ca new line of thinking\u2014a new philosophical approach\u201d which integrates\u00a0relations between the formative principles of matter and energy. He summarized this\u00a0new approach in a discourse \u201cMicrovita and Cosmology\u201d, which is included at the end\u00a0of this article.<\/p>\n

Matter is the Container of Energy, not Energy Itself<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This \u201cnew line of thinking\u201d, though focused on general hierarchial relationships between matter and energy, touches all areas of science and life. Below, two passages\u00a0from \u201cMicrovita and Cosmology\u201d specifically relate matter to the formation and\u00a0containment of energy, and will be briefly explored here. By looking at the relationships\u00a0between matter and energy in the light of Sarkar\u2019s \u201cnew line of thinking\u201d, new scientific\u00a0understandings about the nature of matter and energy, as well as the evolution of life and\u00a0minds, may emerge.<\/p>\n

  1. \u201cBy splitting up the atom immense energy is released. This is due to the fact that\u00a0the energy which is packaged up in matter comes out. To claim that energy is\u00a0obtained due to the destruction of matter is theoretical and not physically proven.
    \nIn fact, the energy comes out from within the store of the atom. Energy always\u00a0requires a material shelter \u2013 a container. After the destruction of the container,\u00a0the immense released energy moves very fast with tremendous speed in all
    \ndirections in search of some or other material shelter. Finally, it finds a way in\u00a0some country, in some human physical body, in structures and other material\u00a0objects scattered around, or in the ocean, etc.\u201d<\/li>\n
  2. Microvita are the \u201cDoing principle or supra-mundane seed of the actional\u00a0principle, ready for being sprouted. Microvita (are) of different characters, either\u00a0of positive or negative nature, collectively maintaining the balance of the\u00a0actional universe, creating initial forms of carbon atoms that help macro- and\u00a0micro-propensities in having their pure physical auxiliary media with mass and\u00a0wonts.\u201d
    \nIn the first passage, which does not directly mention microvita, Sarkar proposes that\u00a0matter is a container for energy, and not energy itself. Energy is \u201cpackaged-up\u201d in\u00a0matter. Matter is not converted into energy in atomic explosions, but can release its\u00a0contained energy through the destruction of its material container. In the second passage\u00a0Sarkar proposes that microvita create the \u201cinitial forms of carbon atoms\u201d, and provide\u00a0atoms with their masses and other characteristics (\u201cwonts\u201d).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Based on these two passages, I propose that microvita compose the material containers\u00a0of energy called matter. The amount and nature of the energy stored in different\u00a0elementary particles and atoms is determined by the nature of their microvita-composed\u00a0containers. These microvita-composed containers store energy to form atoms and subatomic
    \nparticles with their various properties. It is the microvita-composed containers\u00a0and not the energy contained that gives the elementary particles and atoms their\u00a0properties such as mass and shape.<\/p>\n
